Gerhard Heynen
Cofounder and managing partnerAfter studying mechanical engineering, Gerhard Heynen worked as a development and test engineer in the USA. In 2003, he became self-employed and joined forces with his colleagues Stefan Kumschier and Kristof D'haeyere to found LEITWERK Consulting GmbH in 2010. His consulting focus is on quality management in product development, business process improvement and project management. Mr. Heynen has particular expertise in the aerospace industry, the automotive industry and in mechanical and plant engineering. As a trained professional pilot, he spends his free time in the cockpit of everything from gliders to small business jets. In addition, he volunteers as a pilot for the association 'Flying Hope'.

Kristof D’haeyere
Cofounder and managing partnerFollowing his studies, a master's degree in political science as well as Business Administration/Public Management, Kristof D'haeyere worked for an international consulting firm in Brussels in the fields of process design and requirements management in the public sector. Since founding LEITWERK Consulting GmbH in Munich, he has been involved in projects in the areas of business process improvement, organizational development and agile transformation in many different industry sectors. As managing director of LEITWERK Consulting GmbH, he is responsible for the areas of finance, marketing and human resources. He spends his free time with his family. In addition, he can be persuaded by his employees to play a game of table football at almost any time.

Stefan Kumschier
Cofounder and managing partnerAfter graduating with a degree in mechanical engineering, Stefan Kumschier worked for an automotive manufacturer for six years as a production planner for several vehicle projects and then in a management consultancy in the area of process optimization and organizational development. At LEITWERK Consulting GmbH, he supports process and quality enablement projects as well as projects in the production environment, particularly lean management and production-oriented product design in the development process. As Managing Director at LEITWERK Consulting GmbH, he is responsible for product development and sales. His passion is his family. Besides occasional trips to the soccer stadium, he likes to go running in his spare time so that he is not left behind by his colleagues in the annual B2Run.

Florian Kröger
PartnerAfter graduating in industrial engineering from the Technical University of Berlin, Florian Kröger entered the consulting business as a consultant in 2005. He advised clients in the transport and aviation industry on mergers, strategy development and process optimization. In mid-2009, Florian Kröger founded an e-commerce start-up for custom-made wooden furniture. From 2011 on, he was active as a freelance consultant for LEITWERK Consulting GmbH and since 2016 he has been on board as a partner responsible for project operations. As a family man and recreational sportsman, he is enthusiastic about mountain sports and swimming lakes in the south of Munich.

Our headquarters is located in the beautiful Munich district of Moosach, easily accessible by public transport. Our office is located on the 3rd floor of the Munich Technology Center, not far from the Olympic Park and the Olympic Shopping Center with a view of the O2 Tower. When we are not working on-site with our clients, we work here, surrounded by many young companies and start-ups in a refreshing and diverse atmosphere. Our premises have a large seminar and training room, which we regularly use for customer and internal workshops, several small meeting rooms and a shared working space. For coffee and lunch breaks, our spacious kitchen with a comfortable and bright lounge area is always available.
