VISION: Visions are stories about the future and contain ideal ideas about the effectiveness of a company. With the help of images and wishes, a vision expresses the change that is to be achieved with the company.

MISSION STATEMENT: A mission statement combines the principles of vision and understanding of values. Where and how should action be taken? Through “We want...” formulations, a mission statement calls for joint action and is suitable for a reality check.

STRATEGY: A strategy encompasses the fundamental behaviors of a company that are necessary to achieve its long-term goals. The focus is on maximizing value creation for customers.

A vision serves as an orientation aid and as motivation for employees to implement necessary changes. This effect can arise at company, department or project level and serve as the basis for a guiding principle and clear strategy.

Company level

A vision indicates the direction in which a company should develop. The vision describes what the company wants to stand for and where it wants to be in the future - looking at far more than just the economic goals. Vision work at departmental level helps to get all employees on board and to work together more effectively and efficiently in the future. An overarching mission statement and a clear strategic direction set the direction in which a department wants to develop and at the same time promote a harmonious working culture. The advantage? All teams look in the same direction and work together instead of against each other. The effects of vision, mission and strategy are also noticeable in an agile working environment with self-organized teams. Among other things, decision-making is optimized and innovative, interdisciplinary teams can work better in parallel and benefit from each other.
