We see the (further) development of a team as a process that should be supported and accompanied, especially at the beginning and in phases of realignment. As with all formations, there are ups and downs in teams. New tasks or team members are added, goals change and tensions or conflicts can arise. This is part of the process and, if accompanied in a controlled manner, can even be decisive for joint growth.
In order to prevent excessive demands and tensions in teamwork right from the start, it is important to prepare the teams for the new expectations. Learning self-organization and the willingness to engage in a continuous improvement process are prerequisites for being able to muster the necessary flexibility and responsiveness. After all, these are ultimately what make a high performance team.
