Our project team has extensive experience in the implementation of workshop series in various industries. A significant example of this is our collaboration with a leading automobile manufacturer. In this project, we were commissioned to conduct a series of workshops to record and optimize processes in the production environment. The main objective was to increase the in-house planning depth for future product generations and to cover the increased personnel requirements.
Before the start of the workshop series, we clarified all organizational aspects in close consultation with the customer. In a total of 14 interactive workshops, not only 12 actual processes but also 12 target processes were developed. During these workshops, a live modeling of the processes took place, in which the process steps, roles and interfaces were discussed and recorded step by step.
Our method integrated the development of the processes in collaboration with experts from various departments and the use of an internal modeling tool. This combination enabled the step-by-step presentation of all parallelized processes and dependencies. Once the workshops were completed, the processes developed were documented in the internal modeling tool. The result was 24 precisely modelled production processes that contained clear starting points for process optimization.
