In order to successfully and sustainably implement far-reaching change in an organisation, strong leadership is required. The prerequisite for supportive leadership in the phases of a SAFe® implementation is a shared vision, combined with the decision in favour of SAFe® as a ‘dual operation system’ and thus for a comprehensive transformation. The challenges associated with the introduction of the principle of creating a balance between a dynamic network in the process organisation in conjunction with a stable functional organisational structure must be understood and accepted. This is because the introduction of SAFe® as a framework has far-reaching effects on the design of value creation, leadership and, last but not least, decision-making in your organisation.

In the workshop, you as a managerial designer can take an in-depth look at the ‘Lean Agile Mindset’. You will learn how this, in conjunction with the SAFe® principles, can affect goal setting and the design of roles and processes in your organisation. You will also recognise the tasks and responsibilities that will be assigned to you personally. You will be able to bring about a management decision as to whether and what added value the introduction of SAFe® as a scaled framework will bring to your organisation. This will enable you to lay the foundation for the start of the transformation.
