We find practical answers
A product owner only maintains the backlog all day?
Wrong idea! In addition to requirements management, the results of which flow into the backlog, product owners also deal with topics such as vision work, market analyses, release planning and synchronisation with other teams.
Product owners are the interface between the team and stakeholders and therefore have a wealth of different responsibilities. Obtaining feedback, managing expectations, detailing requirements, identifying synergies, making product decisions and much more.
Similar to our poster ‘What does a Scrum Master do all day?’, we have also put together an overview for the role of Product Owner. The content summarises what we experience on a daily basis in our agile projects and what really matters as a product owner.
The requirements for product owners change depending on the organisational context. We therefore support product owners individually or in the form of training courses to help them learn the relevant approaches and methodologies.
